A Conte Collectibles 54mm matte finished metal/wooden Viking ship. This listing includes the following; a wooden Viking ship, display stand, 26 oars, wooden mast, wooden and cloth sail, a metal VIK 105 Helmsman, a metal VIK 106 hornblower, a metal VIK 107 #1 rowers set by 3/24 rowers, 8 poses, 8 extra resin shields, instruction sheet.
This listing also comes with the rare Helmsman and Horn Blower figures. I am not aware of VIK 107 set #2 or #3 being produced;... this listing comes with VIK 107 #1 by 3, not sure again if set #2 or #3 were produced, but this set does not come with either, again just VIK 107 #1 by 3.
I am told 250 wooden versions were made, the instruction sheet says 250 were planned to be produced.
According to the previous owner, he purchased this item at a toy soldier show from a dealer, he told me he never displayed it. According to the instruction sheet, the shields come unattached and after purchasing, you are to then glue them on; as seen in the photos, the shields are glued on, the previous owner told me he did not glue them on, so I assume the dealer did prior to selling it. Due to the nature of glued items, I will pack this item to the highest standard/to the best of my abilities; that said, if any of the shields become unattached in transit, THERE ARE NO RETURNS/REFUNDS/EXCHANGES ON THIS ITEM. The buyer by purchasing it is signing off that he/she will glue back any shields that become unattached in transit, ie, IT IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY. SO AGAIN; NO REFUNDS/RETURNS/EXCHANGES, this item is being sold AS IS/AS SHOWN, NO EXCEPTIONS. The item matches the descriptions I gave in the listing, so there is no grey area here.
All items are in excellent condition, this set is currently out of production.
