This is for the Mortar? WWII vintage antique metal toy soldier - I think it is maybe European in origin but depicting an American WWII era mortar or arching artillery piece? not sure exactly.
The size and condition of the toy can be ascertained most easily by looking at the photographs on high resolution, large screen. You can see that it was a used toy. I think these were manufactured from the late forties into the 1950's - The invention of plastic ended their popularit...y,
