Vintage 1926 Inter-War Waltham "Trench" Style Men's 15j Wristwatch
The Fahys Oresilver semi-hermetic case (bezel and back screw on and off, rather than snap on and off) measures 41.00mm lug to lug and 31.50mm in diameter (not including the crown). It's in beautiful condition. The bezel and back screw on and off easily and there are no gaps or marring.
The 3/0s, 15 jewel, grade 365, Waltham movement is running strong and keeping time (see last pic). Note that thi...s is on a full wind and in the dial up position. Please do not expect quartz accuracy with these vintage watches. Based on the serial number, its estimated year of manufacture is 1926.
Has a beautiful, relumed Waltham Bold Arabic enamel military dial.
It comes with a brown, genuine leather, 16mm strap with silver tone buckle.
