Antique roof hanging Egg Basket *
Old, aged about 60-70 years.
This is a hanging basket , Made from iron wires , fitted with chain to hand. Good / uncommon shape.Inside bottom plate is missing, Not sure it was of metal or glass.
On upper side - there is a chain fitted with hook to hang on roof.Original scraped color.
Sourced from a house open after about 4 decades.# My study suggest, such baskets were used to store eggs in kitchen.Details-Qty-1Si...ze - 5.0 " tall x upper- 9.0" all side, down -6 1/2" all side round Max.Approx.it's Iron chain with ring is 18" tall.Weight- 630 gramsCondition - Good. Mild stains/spots & mild rustic.
