EXTRAORDINARY one of a kind ANTIQUE gothic, medievel, Celtic, golden bronze gilt iron cross wall sconce or two candle table altarhaving two riveted candle cups with arms extending from a rolled end strapattached utilizing metal peg joinery to a cross with spade or arrowshaped ends completed within a circular frame. Riveted to the back of thecross is a separate four leaf plate on which "BH" is hand written inyellow on the front (Bradley and Hubbard? prior owners initials...? Back Hallof castle?) and what appears to be crude certainly unsafe electrical hardwareand wiring. This seller is unsure if the wiring is original or a lateryet old addition to a notably older piece. APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS: Height19" -- Width 17.5" -- Depth 5" This phenomenalarchitectural salvage Celtic cross sconce is as it was found stored in the attic of a 19thCentury Victorian Mansion unclean, with age appropriate surface wear, minorpitting, small areas of surface rust, and a chip to one candle cup.
