Beautiful antique Chinese six panel tea caddy. I have read that they are made of pewter, so that is what I am assuming on this one. There is a very nice pantina to the metal. There are 6 different glass painted panels. All are in good condition. The glass is not broken. Each has a different detailed design. It is stamped on the bottom. It dates from circa 1900. The top is included and fits nicely on the caddy. The only issue I... can find is the top has a small bend on the rim. Hard to see, but check last photo. Weighs nearly 2 1/2 pounds.
