Up for auction is a very rare vintage Computer Fidelity Electronics Elite A/S Chess Challenger Chess Set. It's in very nice cosmetic condition. It also has the original box which is almost never found with these. Box has matching serial numbers. Box does have the strafoam inserts. It has the instructions but looks like a mouse got to them and ate about 60% of them. The board powers up and says the opening intro. I noticed all red square lights come on. It seems to get stuck after it sa...ys, "select level" I've got it to verify positions and clear. It seems to remember the first move. I have read that the capacitors are the first to go on these old electronics. Also someone installed an off and on switch on the original power cord. (see pics) I have a feeling it just needs some new capacitors but I'm just speculating and so I will have to sell it "AS IS" I might not even be operating it right since I don't have an instructions on how to operate this board. I'm sure someone can get this full functioning again. Please ask me any questions before bidding.
