ITEM: Antique, most likely English, twin leg Mahogany small tilt top tea or coffee table with scalloped top, carved open work base, finials and original brass spring latch with catch. This piece is solid, well made and unm...arked. The table top has an inlaid Mahogany sunburst design with original olive green and black painted piping/trim around the outside edge. Recently purchased from the estate of a long-time Central Ohio Veterinarian who collected many fine antiques during his long lifetime. SIZE: Approximately 21 1/2" wide x 15" deep x 22 1/2" tall to the top of the tray. The leg base is 12 3/4" wide.CONDITION: Solid and study with no breaks or chips and normal cosmetic wear from use. Sits level with no wobble. Spring latch on the underside works as it should. Green accenting and black piping stripe paint are intact with very little, if any, loss. Appears that it may have been varnished over the original finish many years ago by a previous owner.
