A cast gold, enamel, and diamond howler monkey brooch/pendant by Asprey.This flamboyant brooch features enamelled hair, ears, arms, nose, and tongue; whilst using ten grain set H Colour SI clarity diamonds to decorate the beard.The monkey's eyes are two 3mm round cabochon cut onyx stones. With a concealed hinged bale, and a pair of white gold hinged pins with a roller clasp, this unique piece of jewellery can be worn as a fabulous pendant or decadent brooch. Stamped “750 18K Made in ...Italy for ASPREY”, the back of the brooch is signed by A&Co Ltd, alongside a 1973 London Import Mark.
