Original Description:
US WWII M1 Helmet w/ front seam & swivel bales great finish and original paint left.  Stamped with 'S' for Schlueter, Missing chin strap. Liner is in great shape and is stamped 23D and W for Westinghouse Electric Company.  The webbing within the liner is a tad rough and salty with what I deduce is either the result of hardwork or fun in the sand either way this liners seen some action.  Otherwise this is a great piece of history and a fine addition to any collection....
