Vintage mid-century modern Holmar red laquerware oval tray with a gold, silver and black bamboo design with Bakelite handles - handcrafted in Japan. The tray measures approximately 17 3/4" x 11 3/4". The tray is in good used condition with some signs of wear - there is a little wear around the handles, some minor scuff marks on the lower left below the design as well as some scuff marks on the back. You can tell that at least some parts of the design were hand painted... because they are not machine perfect. A very interesting mid-century piece!
