Hello. John and I are very pleased to meet you. First off, let me tell you not to be surprised at our prices. Because we keep our prices low, it certainly doesn't mean that we don't carry superb quality. Since I became permanently disabled in 2008 (from my career as an It specialists, a job I loved), I had been searching for something to make the days not so long and lonely until my husband John came home. He is a high school teacher, and a very busy one. A student advocate and one of the best teachers there are in our wonderful state of New York. My husband was the one who suggested I start sharing some of my antiques and collectibles I had been.....well, lets say buying and almost hoarding...lol, for more than 40 years. My mother was the supreme collector of antiques and jewelry and she took me on all of her scavenger and auction hunts. I can't tell you how lucky I was to have one of the best and brightest collectors as my mother!!
My passion has always been vintage jewelry, especially art deco. The character, the style, the beauty just speaks to me. These days, without being able to drive anymore, I am very rarely out and don't get the chance to show these wonderful items. Most of our pieces are never marked up more than 20%, which is why we can't do the big 50% off sales. That being said, I will work with each and every customer to try and manage their budget and where I can bend, I will. I also offer layaways for that very purpose.
Please let me know how you like my items and any and all suggestions are welcome about new inventory or your own personal quest for certain items. I cannot guarantee that all items have come from smoke free homes, however I will do my best to ensure that every item is cleaned to the best of my ability. In jewelry, items may have some scratching or signs of previous wear. I will do my best to indicate when an item has defects that would affect wear. I would be most pleased to service you in any way I can.
