Unpunched TSR/SPI Moscow 1941 WW2 War Game
This auction is for the punched game shown and is TSR's 1987 board game of the battles for Moscow in 1941. Turns are four days long, hexagons are approximately 10 kilometers across, and units range in size from battalions to divisions. The play sequence is IGOUGO with activities limited by one's initiative point stockpile. There are two scenarios including a short one which starts in October 1941 and runs four turns, being playable in an ...hour or more, and a full campaign game that runs through February 1942 and which can take six hours or more, to play. Game components include:
1 ea 8.5" x 11" black and white 24 page conventional game rule book which includes the scenario notes and extensive historical notes2 ea 8.5" x 11" cardstock player cards that contain game charts, reinforcements, etc., with one for each side3 unpunched two-color backprinted countersheets containing a total of 600 game counters1 ea 22" x 32" multicolor unmounted map sheet1 plastic counter tray (and lid) insert for the game box2d61 game box
TSR rated this game at medium complexity. I'm not sure it's quite that complex but it is definitely more involved than, say, a quad game. The late owner smoked; I'm a non-smoker don't notice any odor but you nose may be more (or less) sensitive than mine. The box is in new condition beyond very light shelf-rubbing from sitting on a shelf for a bit over 30 years. Play it!
Sale Terms: eBay-calculated postage may be on the high side, especially if you won more than one auction from me, but I combine shipments in order to minimize your shipping costs, there are no handling charges and I refund all excess postage paid. Items generally ship no later than the weekend after I receive payment and often ship as soon as the day after I receive payment. Please pay within 10 days of auction’s end unless you’ve made prior arrangements with me. And finally, don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
Please Note: I now use eBay Standard International Shipping for all foreign deliveries. It takes a day or two longer to deliver than USPS First Class International mail but at any given weight It costs less than USPS First Class International mail, it is tracked, and it is insured for up to $100US! If you prefer to use another overseas shipping method, just let me know - but I recommend eBay Standard International Shipping!
