Vintage Limoges Peint a la Main signed J. Dumont France Porcelain Egg Shaped Trinket Box. Multicolored flowers are handpainted in a traditional criss cross pattern on a gorgeous light turquoise blue egg. The sides are adorned with a painted gold garland. The inside has lovely matching handpainted flowers. The bottom shows two authentic marks, the Paint a la Main "JD" Dumont France and the green Limoges France mark. This beauty measures 2 1/2 inches long, and the width and depth ar...e about 1 3/4 inches. This is a vintage piece in excellent "Used" condition. The hinge is tight, top and bottom are aligned, no loss to decoration or gold, no chips, or restoration. I do notice a flaw to the blue (see last 2 photos) and there is a slight bend to the lower petals on the flower closure (barely noticeable, but last picture shows it).
