THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AT OUR AUCTION...HERE WE HAVE A NICE VINTAGE AUBURN TOOL CO. COFFIN STYLE 8" L WOOD BLOCK SMOOTH PLANE.... GREAT ANTIQUE TOOL....IN NICE PREOWNED USED CONDITION....AUBURN TOOL CO IS STAMPED ON BOTH THE BLADE AND ALSO WOODEN BLOCK END.....AUBURN TOOL CO WAS A MAJOR WOODEN PLANE MANUFACTURERE IN AUBURN, NY FROM APPROX. 1864-1893.....THERE IS A SLIGHT CHIP MISSING FROM THE INTERIOR WOODEN PIECE HOWEVER IT STILL SITS NICELY IN PLACE AND THERE IS ALSO A SLIGHT PRE...SSURE CRACK ON ONE SIDE AND BOTTOM AS SEEN IN MY PHOTOS......NOT SURE IF IN WORKING ORDER BUT A BEAUTIFUL DECOR PIECE....IT MEASUES 8" LONG....PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES....SHIPPING WILL BE $9.00
