Figure de type Yena  vendue avec un socle métallique. La figure Yena fait référence à l'igname dont elle en évoque la forme. Cette figure est utilisée pour célébrer la récolte de ces tubercules sacrés lors d'une première cérémonie sur un cycle qui en comporte trois. Le manche de ce masque évoque la bâton à fouir qui sert lors du repiquage de l'igname. Fente ancienne stabilisée. Bois et fibres&...nbsp;naturelles. Ethnie Nokuma.         
This figure called Yena is used during a ceremony to celebrate the yam harvest. This ceremony is the first one of a cycle of three of them. Nokuma people. Wood and natural fibers. The handle of this mask evokes the stick used for the transplanting of the yam.
