Old Paris Porcelain Dessert Set 10pc.Teal/Turquoise border with beautiful hand painted floral centers. This is a set of hand panted porcelain in the form of a dessert set made in the 1840 to 1870s in Paris, France.
2 pedestal serving dishes 2 3/4" in height, 9" diameter with
8 dessert plates, 9" diameter. Hand-painted floral center with teal border edged in gold. Roses, hollyhocks, violas, morning glory & more.
This type of hand painted porcelain is termed "Old Paris... Porcelain" because there were many makers but none marked the bottoms during this period
.
This is a beautiful set of plates. Their condition is used with some crazing & outer edge wear visable. 1 plate has a small 1/8" piece of leaf missing & 1 plate has a 1" mark on the back damaged by a wire plate hanger.
