This set of thirteen comics constitute the first story arc of the Young Avengers and is a great all-around read, plus it has the first appearances of fan-favorites Wiccan, Hulkling, Stature, and Kate "Hawkeye" Bishop.
The books are in a solid Very Fine condition (some could be VF/NM, but grading is a very subjective thing). All w...ere taken off the local comic store shelf, read, and stored away. There are a few things to take into consideration --
#2 - has a slight roll running alongside the left edge (see photo 3) - either a printing defect or how it was packed in the shipping case - sitting under a couple of dictionaries for a bit would help flatten itout! ;-)
#6 - the dark back cover of #5 has caused a little rubbing to show on the white cover of #6, especially in places along the left edge (photo 6) - also, there is a "gutter" (don't know what else to call it) running along the spine (similar to #8 [photo 8] but only for the second half of the book, which makes me think it is a printing mistake
#7 - there are a couple of stress marks on the spine of the front cover, and some wrinkling from a waterdrop on the lower left corner of the back cover

All-in-all, a very sound set of books!
