Vintage Ghidei Tedla Olive Wood Porcupine Quill Eritrea Ethiopia Goblet

My globe-trotting father-in-law purchased an entire set of Olive Wood and Porcupine Quill desk items in Eritrea during the mid 20th century. He then hauled this stuff across the whole of Africa and finally returned to the US. They're lovely, but just don't fit with my decor.
All of these were made by a firm called Ghidei Tedla in the capital city of Asmara. All the quills are intact and the wood has a lovely patina. The goblet measures approximately four and a half inches in dia...meter and nine inches tall. There is a metal cup lining. It does not seem to be removable.
