Two original, full-page advertisements for the Liberty Loan program (see below) published in 1918 "as suggestions for the use of local Committees and others interested in Liberty Loan advertising". The advertisements, published back-to-back, read as follows:
"The Road to France - He is Keeping it Open.The American sailor is doing his part"
"Where will you stand on the Day of Victory ?" .
This was part of a large collection of memorabilia gathered by Herman G. Scott of Pi...ttsburg who was stationed with the American Expeditionary Forces (see below) in Tours, France in 1918 and worked in the War Risk department
Tattered condition with edge tears, age toning and a split along the central fold - see scans. The paper is very fragile - overall size 16 x 22 inches
