This is a genuine 1970 blue deck of Jerry’s Nuggets playing cards coming from the Casino 50 years ago. This deck is in fantastic condition with a perfect seal and good edges/corners (see photos), but there is no cellophane with this particular deck. They are hugely collectible and I can guarantee this and other Jerry’s Nuggets cards I own are 100% real. Here are a few ways to distinguish an authentic deck:
1. DECK COLORSAuthentic 1970 Jerry's Nugget playing cards were ONLY print...ed in red & blue. That's it! Orange, black yellow or green decks are 100% guaranteed fakes.2. PERFORATED LABELAuthentic Jerry's Nugget decks have perforated United States Playing Card Company tax like labels. If your stamp is actually a sticker, then it's not legitimate.3. VERTICAL LINESGenuine Jerry's Nugget card faces feature vertical lines running from top to bottom while the backs display an overall textured pattern of dimpled squares.4. LONG LIPTake a look at the tuck flap of your deck. It should be the traditional long style flap you see on most vintage decks, and not the newer reduced sized version.5. LAST RESORTGenuine decks have 1970 printed on the inside flap of the tuck box. You must rip open the box to see it. This is not a preferred method of authentication.
