Headed by the 'renowned' X. La Motte Sage and Charles S. Clarke the advertising paper promotes courses and degrees relating to Hypnotism
X. La Motte Sage real name was E. Virgil Neal
The United States Post Office banned the mailing of any of their information late in 1912 which would indicate that this may have been one of their last distributions of information which began in 1899
Even though it is widely noted that this was a mail order scam, it is interesting to note that X. La Motte Sage books on Hypnotism are still sold and distributed to this day.
A true piece of early Americana and the culture of the early 20th century
Four page newspaper formatted each page 10 1/2" x 14"
The periodical is in outstanding condition with minor crease tears near the original folds (1/2" or less) with no writing, stains or other imperfections
