Highly collectible vintage Bali hand-carved wood Topeng performance mask signed by master artist IB Anom, carved and painted with incredible skill. The wooden character's articulated mouth is broad and exaggerated with a beautiful hand-painted gradation on the lips. Anom uses gradation to great effect on this piece and carries this technique throughout the work notably as well around the eyebrows and the hairline. Anom even uses this style on the reverse lower jaw. This mask measures a...pproximately 8" Tall X 7" Wide x 3.5" Deep. Comes with head strap which doubles as a wall mount.
