Original Description:
This is a 2 gallon gas/oil can, marked "Shell" on the cap and "SM and BP ltd." on the side -- for Shell Mex and British Petroleum. It doesn't leak - I sloshed some gas around in there - and it seems sound.  It's been re-painted olive green, because it's the same kind of can that was used as a condensing can for the Vickers Machine gun, and others, and it looked great when on display. The gun is long gone, but the can remains.
If the buyer prefers I can swap the Shell cap for a ...plain one.
