Vintage Thermos, Nintendo Mario Bros. 2, Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link

I don't know that Super Mario Bros. 2 and Zelda II have much in common (besides being a Nintendo property), but here they are together on the same thermos! Yes, this was my school lunchtime beverage container of choice in the late 80s, and I swear that the milk tasted *just a little* sweeter coming out of this thermos. Or maybe it was just because times were simpler back then...who knows?
Anyway, the thermos (made by Aladdin) is in great shape, though it is missing the inner lid wit...h the flip-up sippy spout. If you wanted to send it to school with your kid (because what 3rd grader in 2020 isn't into 30-year-old video games?) you could replace it with another lid from a thrift store. Otherwise, it's perfectly suitable as-is for display, or, if you will, a makeshift beer stein (with fillable mug cap!)
The thermos is in great shape considering its age, and that it was used frequently by an 8-year-old for a school year or two. No sense in it living in my basement anymore, though, when it can live on gloriously as a part of your Nintendo/Mario/Zelda collector's shelf.
