Here’s a very nice, smaller sized Vulcan anvil in pretty good shape. It’s got a cast iron body with a steel face. The body has typical casting flaws but is in otherwise good condition. It does appear someone punched small dots in the side, likely initials or testing a punch. The face has some chisel marks but nothing too deep and a few chips out of the front edge. The horn has two indentations on the right side but wouldn’t affect the usage. Overall a very nice anvil in a unique ...size. The front foot is marked with a 2 1/2 and a 28.
