This is a Mitre Box and Back saw from Miller Falls Mass. from 1909 to 1917The mitre box badge shows it is a Langdon Acme Mitre Box No. 74 size 2 1/2 from Miller Falls Co. The patent dates are from 1895 to 1909. It measures 19 1/4" wide, 12" deep, and 9" tall and weighs 20 pounds.The saw is from Henry Disston & Sons and is a #4 Mitre Saw with "Langdon Mitre Box Co." embossed on the back part of the saw. The style of the medallion dates this saw from 1896 to 1917. The saw measures 33..." total length, and is 5 1/8" tall at the tip to 5 3/8" tall near the wooden handle. 26 1/2" measurement from end tooth to end tooth and has 11 points per inch. It weighs 4 lbs.CONDITION: 100+ years of patina....look at pictures for details on condition. Saw is sharp miter box is in working condition. You can put this to work....or on display......or it's ready for that restoration.
