I am offering for sale this Good User FINE USER Vintage USA No 3 Utility Shingling Axe Hatchet Original Hickory Handle Inv#TW07
This hatchet is marked USA * No 3 on the axe head. Overall it measures 11-3/8" L, head measures x 6-1/8" x 3-1/4" W at cutting edge. Hammer weighs a hefty 2lbs . This is a single bit double beveled edge axe with nail puller. It could use sharpening to get it back to its optimal cutting edge.(see photos). Head is tight and secure, has pi...tting & dings from use and a age, it has been lightly waxed. The original hickory handle is marked has some splits, dings & scars from use and age but still has a great feel and patina.
