RARE VINTAGE HEUER CARRERA 3647D TWO TONE SILVER DECIMAL DIAL CHRONOGRAPH 1960SA rare early vintage Heuer Carrera chronograph reference 3647D, from the 1960sOriginal two tone silver dial with metallic outer decimal scale in blue, marked SwissCarrera case with hexagonal back and early serial number clearly stamped between lugs 577xxCase back signed Ed Heuer & Co and stamped Heuer inside, with unsigned crown17J manual wind Valjoux calibre 92 movement, signed Ed Heuer & Co SA- - -The watch ...is in an honest example.The movement is running and seems to keep fair time for the short period it was tested. The chronograph starts, stops and resets as it should.The original dial has some light patina and age-related marks and is still nice in my opinion! There is a small break in the outer tracking ring (see photo 4 for angle). The case is in good condition, it has scratches, dings and wear as expected from age & use, but it doesn't look like it was heavily polished.The watch recently had a replacement plexiglass fitted.Please read this information carefully, view the photographs in detail and ensure you are satisfied with the condition of this watch before bidding.
