Offered for sale is an original, first year 1969 Raleigh Chopper model DL530, 3+2 five speed bicycle with all original parts and pieces. I purchased this bicycle from the original owner back in 2002 and have enjoyed it in my collection ever since. Condition is very nice, with paint showing some spidering and oxidation, and chrome showing some dullness. Only known broken part on the bike is the front fender tab, but original fender and tab (which is still under the front fender attachme...nt nut) are included. The chopper specific items, such as seat, acorn "R" labeled bolts, original Sturmey Archer shifter with S/A knobs, and even original tires, are present. Overall a period correct piece that is extremely hard to find in this unmolested, patina shape. Lights are period correct Schwinn add-ons. Only non-original decal on the bike is on the chainguard. All other decals are as they came back in 1969. Bike has never been painted or restored.
