A beautiful needlework sampler with alphabet, numbers & a quote from the poet Alexander Pope "Teach me to feel another's woe, to hide fault I see;that mercy I to others shew, that mercy shew to me.This embroidered linen sampler is mounted on a wooden stretcher frame & has paper on it's back, but is not framed.I removed this from a glazed frame, so ...it has been protected under glass for a period of time.Measures: L13" x W12.5"(33cm x 32cm)
