Perfume bottle empty of the famous Parisian Guerlin perfumer.
Created in 1919, while Europe had a great enthusiasm for the Japanese and Eastern Asian culture, Jacques Guerlain named this L'Heure Bleue perfume. The perfume and bottle dates from the years 1920/1930. The bottle is Baccarat Crystal, signed in acid below the stamp indicating that this perfume was sold exclusively in stores Guerlin.
L'Heure... Bleue or 'the bluish hour' was created by Jacques Guerlain in 1912. The fragrance was described as velvety soft and romantic, it is a fragrance of bluish dusk and anticipation of night, before the first stars appear in the sky. The perfume was mysterious, elegant and timeless. It was created by Raymond Guerlain. The bottle is shaped like the one of Mitsouko and the stopper is shaped like a hollow heart that alludes to romantic pre-war years.
The bottle and label are in good condition. There is some wear and slight chipping to the end of the inside stopper (see photo). Great decorative display bottle.
Bottle height: 5.75"
