We are listing a number of 1920's hand-crafted polished agate-like natural onyx lamp parts/components with faceted surfaces and rich natural coloration. All have been used and show minor edge nicks and some old plaster of Paris/cement residue. See our other sales for other antique examples.
This stepped base with canted sides and carved (not applied) feet measures 3 1/2" tall x 7 7/8" square and is formed in 3 pieces: footed bottom with two faceted squares 5 7/8" and 3 7.../8" square. The onyx appears to polished under the plaster film. It is sturdy and usable without breaks or large nicks.
