The 587th Bombardment Squadron is an inactive AF unit. Its last was assigned to the 394 bomb group stationed at boiling field It was inactivated on 28 February 1946. WW2 A-2 Original Leather Flight Jacket Rare Patch 587th Bombardment Squadron  named to LT. A. R. Kannapel  Size 42 MFG Star Sports wear MFG CO. Lynn, Mass. missing leather LT bars on top of shoulder.Leather Wing is torn Looks like it could be a medical wing. Jacket and lining excellent condition. leathe...r patch very good condition, rare. Waist band and cuff and zipper have been replaced at some time. crown zipper arm pit to arm  pit 21 inches Shoulder to shoulder 18 inches top of collar to top of waist band 25 inches, top of shoulder to end of cuff 23 inches nice wearable Jacket. no rips or tears except the RAF or medical leather wing?
