Original Description:
A superb Victorian/Edwardian silver platedChristmas spoon. It is marked with the makers’ mark D&WS. It dates toc1900. It has been beautifully designed having its bowl decorated with aVictorian scene of stockings by the fire (strange to think this would be quitea modern scene when it was made). The handle is in the form of the chimney withSanta about to slide down. The handle is decorated with the words TWAS THENIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS. It is in superb condition being free from ding...s splits andrepairs. It measures 4.25 inches (11cms) long by almost 1 inch (2.2cms) andweighs 10 grams. A very unusual piece.
