Rare Syracuse Plows Vintage Painted Wooden Sign 1879-1911 from local dealer of Syracuse Chilled Plows. The company was located in Syracuse New York where Henry Wiard maufactured plows by his own patented method. The company operated under the Syracuse Plows name from 1879 until 1911 when the owners sold the business to John Deere. They continued to make farm equipment under the same management using the John Deere name until 1955. Beautiful blue background with silver lette...rs, matching the company letterhead.
