1880's Kansas House Prayer
Item is from an estate sale in central Kansas, where some 1870-1890 Bibles, also auf Deutsch, were for sale. German-language Bibles were printed in St. Louis. German was a not uncommon language in Kansas in the last half of the 19th century. Estimating this artwork as dating from the 1880's.
Can find no name of artist(s) or manufacturer, but likely prod...uced in U.S., perhaps in Chicago or St. Louis.
Frame is a little loose. Gilded artwork in very good condition. Frame size is about 12" x 15-1/4".
