This is a brand new FN stile floor plate release button which can replace the military button on any standard 93, 94, 95, 96, and 98 Mauser trigger guard. This will allow you to release the floor plate just with your finger and not require a tool or bullet point. Included is the button and new retaining pin (no spring). Machined out of 1144 carbon tool steel unlike the GPC brand one where the retaining tab breaks off allowing the floorplate along wit...h the ammo to drop out of the bottom of your rifle. I make the button smooth because the spring is quite stiff and the knurled ones are hard on the fingers. Also the knurles can more easily catch on clothing and release the floorplate.
