Mr. Sharpe was the main designer of Mardi Gras favors such as doubloons beginning in the 1960's with the introduction of the Krewe of Rex doubloon. This example seems to be cutout from the Krewe of Zulu, the first African-American Krewe Parade which precedes Rex Parade on Mardi Gras Day.
