Here is an antique Columbia TYPE B Graphophone/phonograph in very fine condition as pictured. This machine is an early cylinder phonograph by Columbia produced during the early days of the industry and is marked “B”on the id plate, along with serial number 141741. Cabinet is in fine original condition with new banner decal as pictured. Bed plate and nickel plated parts show slightest wear to nickel plating. This machine surprisingly retains it’s original belt cover with all appro...priate patent dates. The 10” cone horn is a modern reproduction. This antique record machine plays through a two minute record with ease, has new springs, governor weights, governor springs and is ready for the next hundred years of enjoyment. One nice 2 minute Edison wax record included, Marching Through Georgia #8606. Machine will plays any 2 minute record, Columbia, Edison, etc. easily found on eBay and elsewhere. This machine winds up and runs with average motor noise; motor has been professionally restored; Overall, a very nice original machine over 100 years old in very good playing condition.
