This frame is made for racing in comfort (complete with the braze-on race number holder!)The MX leader is considered to be one of the best steel racing frames of all times. Built with Columbus MAX tubing with a special zinc treatment to prevent corrosion everywhere on the frame.“Columbus’s development of the Max... tube set provided Merckx the opportunity to develop a frame of light weight with greater efficiency, due to the steel alloy used and the variable profile of each tube. Here is a frame of remarkable rigidity, even in the largest sizes that is capable of transmitting the power of the rider into speed like few others.”Condition is used but very good -- near mint except for a few minor paint dings.
