This is an original Blue U.S.A. Hot Wheels Redline Oldsmobile 442 with a white interior from our Trust Holding Collection. This ones a beauty however it should be noted that the car has been loved and played with therefore there are chips, scratches and toning. The hood is secure though it doesn't hold itself up like the other 442's. This should be taken into consideration when bidding.
You know what the car is however you may or may not know me. My n...ame is Erin and I have collected Redlines since the 1990's as a way to quit smoking. More than 2 decades and 19, 000 cars later...I haven't smoked since!
I have been in several magazines and am considered a "Redline amateur expert" here in the Salt Lake Valley due to my extensive research, knowledge and attention to detail. I can tell the difference between a factory post spin and a glue in flat head rivet with swirls or a repaint Vs all original etc. I have been offered the presidency of The Salt Flat Hot Wheelers association several times though I am too busy.
This is a very rare occasion for us for we have only ever sold 6 of the nearly 20, 000 cars in the collection, one being one of the finest purple Olds 442 discovered to date along with one of the finest red Olds 442 with a black interior ever found and a very fine White Enamel Custom Camaro lovingly called "The Ghost". I have included photos of these and myself to establish credibility.
We are listing several tonight so kindly check out our other listings please and thank you!
This auction is for the Blue car in the main photos only. All sales are considered final with no refunds or exchanges so shipping back and forth is not going to happen. I highly recommend insurance however we have been doing this for decades...we know how to ship diecast!.
Bidders with a score of less than 10 must contact me first for approval to bid, this is to protect you, the bidder.Payment in full required within 24 hours of auctions end.
Thank you,
