An original document that belonged to a Marine named Clarence E. Sutton. This Marine won the Medal of Honor for his conduct during the Boxer Rebellion in China. It is from the time of the Boxer Rebellion 1900. In one area this document says, .....Sutton's return to North China or Cavite is unnecessary in my opinion His excellent conduct in battle on July 13 has entitled Sergeant Sutton to further consideration from me.............. This document appears to be signed by a Colonel at the bottom. On the back there is a printed document that mentions Nagasaki Hotel.I currently have other items listed that belonged to Clarence Sutton including papers that say he rescued famous Marine Smedley D.
