Up for auction isan amazing self-framed tin sign advertising the Joseph Stoeckle Brewing Company of Wilmington, Delaware. I do not see a manufacturer’s mark. MEASUREMENTS: The sign is LARGE measuring 31” wide by 23” tall. AGE: This is a Pre-Prohibition self-framed tinsign dating toapproximately 1905 to 1910. CONDITION: This self-framed tin sign is made of heavygauge tin. The sign is in overall displayablecondition for its age but doe...s have areas of light rust, various scratches, anail-hole or two, dents along the perimeter frame, and areas of paint loss. Some areas of paint loss had beentouched-up. If you have any questionsplease don’t hesitate to ask. RARITY: I have asked various long-time Pre-Prohibitioncollectors and the consensus is that this sign is very, VERY rare.
