WE CAN COMBINE SHIPPING ON MULTIPLE ITEMS IF THEY CLOSE WITHIN TWO DAYSOF EACH OTHER, AND CAN BE SENT IN ONE BOX.BEAUTIFUL OAK SIDE CHAIRCA. 1670DIMENSIONSAbout 40" x 19" x 15 1/2".  19" height to seat.DESCRIPTIONWonderful solid oak side chair, 17th century.  Probably Yorkshire, England.  Double back crests with carved hearts, six drop pendants, scalloped and scrolled geometrics.  Stiles with scrolled ears.  Flat, recessed plank panel seat.  Block and turn...ed stretcher and legs with full-length feet.  Pegged mortise and tenon construction throughout.  The carved hearts suggest that it may have been associated with a wedding or anniversary.CONDITIONOverall excellent.  Strong and sturdy, all joints tight.  Fabulous old oak patina.  A RARE EXAMPLE OF EARLY PILGRIM CENTURY FURNITURE.NOTE:Due to the size of the package, this chair will be shipped via FedEx, rather than USPS priority mail.All items shipped USPS priority mail unless otherwise noted.
