Another rare and original item from my other half's collection, as we try to declutter our house a little!
This is a famous, sought-after and highly collectible set of very beautiful large Tarot cards (each about 14 x 9.5cm, or 5.5 x 3.75 inches), published in 1978. The images on each card were painted by Lady Frieda Harris over five years, between 1938 and 1943. This set is complete and comes in its original box with an additional card explaining the de...ck's origins and history, together with a detailed instruction booklet - which includes two essays written by Lady Harris and with footnotes by Stuart R Kaplan.
The cards themselves are in mint condition, with no visible signs of wear or use. The outer box is in good clean condition but shows some signs of slight wear, but only to a degree consistent with age and careful storage in a dry, smoke-free environment.
