Beautiful Russian FILIGREE MELCHIOR TEA GLASS HOLDERS, also known as Podstakannik- (Подстаканник), madewith Melchior and silver plated. Russian masterly jewelry is metal filigree TeaCup Holder. Feature delicate swirling openwork and window cutouts. Appear to besilver plate or a lower grade silver. They are in vintage condition and showsome signs of age/use, including tarnish - please see photos. Each holder measures approximately 4.80 inches inheight (with the glass) x 4.00 inch width (incl. handle.) x Ø 2.60 inch cup diameter at rim, and weighsapproximately 90 gms – 95 grams / 59.0 – 65.0 dwt. Stamped on the bottom by Cyrillic, of the priceis eleven Rubles and an unidentified Soviet hallmark. Each holder is alsostamped on the bottom with a number, varying from piece to piece - please seepictures.
