Kowa Prominar Anamorphic-8 2X (Baby Kowa) Black Version
One of the smallest 2X anamorphic lenses ever made (see photo #3 for size). Extremely rare in such good condition. This lens can go wide - can take a 40mm taking lens on Super35 format. Can be paired with a Rapido FVD-8A for a tiny 2X anamorphic setup.
Classic Kowa purple lens coatings creating beautiful magenta-blue flares.
Optics:
No scratches, no fungus, no separation, no haze/fog. Generally clear glass with some m...inor defects. The rear element has a tiny coating defect and few cleaning marks (see photo #10). The front element has some black paint loss (?) around the edges (see photos #6-7) These defects are not visible in the images taken by this lens.
Mechanics:
The focus ring resistance is heavy but still rotates throughout the full range. Other than that, no issues.
Cosmetics:Minor wear and scuffs from use. Please see photos.
