Rare Antique Silver FIRST LONGINES CHRONOGRAPH Pocket Watch - Chester 1880 In Good Running Order!! Keeps approx 3-4 minutes over 24 hours. The Chronograph works well for about 5-10mins off a full wind but stops after that. Its in excellent condition for its age, as seen in the pictures.This is the first Chronograph mechanism produced by Longines. It is the calibre 20H, patented by the watchmaker Alfred Lugrin.It has a large and heavy solid silver open face case with full english h...allmarks for "Chester 1880". The dial is white enamel porcelain with roman numerals, a seconds dial at 6 o'clock, and center seconds chronograph which is activated/deactivated by pushing the crown down. The dial is signed "Russells Keyless Lever Chronograph". It has a clean glass crystal to protect the dial. The movement is a Longines Calibre 20H keyless wind, approx 11 jewel, gilt plate movement with a escapement. The movement is signed "Longines" and is stamped "HA Lugrins Pat June13 & Oct 3 76".
