This is an amazing and very, very rare, Schafer & Vater, German porcelain, figural screw-cap, miniature perfume bottle, that is in the form/shape of a turtle on an oval base. It is done in tones of browns, tans and hints of dark green paints and glazed.It measures approx. 2" long and 1-1/2" high.It was made in GERMANY by the 'Schaefer & Vater Porcelain Factory' in, Volkstedt Rudolstad, Thuringa Germany, in the 1920s.It is in amazing condition with no damage seen and has th...e original cap/lid.These do not come along often at all and the turtle is one of the harder figural bottles to find.
